Our Story
It all began in the fall of 2021 with a simple swipe. What started as friendly conversations and texting turned into something much more. Wes was persistent about meeting in person, but I kept finding excuses to put off that first date. I finally agreed to grab a slice of pizza and a beer, assuming it would be a quick, casual meetup.
Little did I know, that “quick” date would turn into eight hours of conversation. (If you know us, we’re a chatty pair) From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to be marrying the love of my life.
Wes has been my greatest blessing—always patient, always supportive, and always caring for me in the most thoughtful ways.
The one part Anusha missed, is that we immediately turned around and did it again the next day. This time we went to a street festival in her neighborhood and she met Wags, my dog.
Somewhere in the conversation, she admitted that she’d never been a dog person. That didn’t stop her from immediately doting on the little furball like he was her own, and she even let him hitch a ride in her kayak on our next date.
Every day we’ve spent together since has been a storybook adventure that I would not change an instant of.
When we’re together, we never seem to run out of things to say. She’s the easiest person to love because she is the kindest, most genuine person I know and I cannot wait to see how the rest of our story together unfolds.
We are so excited to begin this new chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you—our closest friends and family—who have been part of our story. Let’s make this a day to remember!
