Our

Wedding Party

Nisha

Nisha Issac — Maid of Honor

Chechi is literally my day one, because she had no other choice. Whether she was forced or wanted to be a good older sister will remain a mystery, but I can’t think of a time when she wasn’t there to catch me when I fell or celebrate my milestones in life. I’m glad she’s had my back for the last 29 years, and cannot wait for Wesley to become my chachan (so he can also put up with me)!

Amy Mathews — Matron of Honor

Hi everyone! I’m Amy (also known as Pinky), and I’m so excited to be a bridesmaid for my amazing cousin! I’ve had the joy of watching her grow up from a little bundle of energy into the strong, smart, and beautiful person she is today. She inspires me with her kindness and determination, and I couldn’t be prouder to stand by her side on this special day. Let’s celebrate this wonderful couple together!

Chinnu, you are my favourite cousin sister with the sweetest smile and kindest heart. Humble and Graceful, Chinnu, you bring joy to everyone you meet. I am greatful that I get to know you and Wes. It’s an honor to stand by your side on your special day as you marry the love of your life. I couldn't be happier for you both and can't wait to see the beautiful future you're about to build together. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless happiness!!

Milla

Milla Justa — Bridesmaid

It all started back in nursing school. The instant connection was undeniable & we quickly became 2 peas in a pod!! From Cinco de Mayos, holidays together, nursing school stresses, international adventures, travel nurse contracts, mountain days, the list is endless. Anusha has become the breath of fresh air every girl needs as one of their best friends. Cheers to many more to come.

Renet

Renet Roy — Bridesmaid

Anusha and I met each other the same way a lot of Malayalee girls meet, over some kanji and payar in church in 2007. Since then we have had so many wonderful memories whether it’s obsessing over vampire diaries with some homemade brownies, making homecoming mums, random night outs in college or just quiet nights of catching up these days! Life looks a lot busier now and even though regular check ins were tough, we have always been able to pick up exactly where we left off with easy comfort. Despite the many tears, laughs and the in between, she has always been there for me. Anusha has always been someone that took care of those around her and now Wes goes above and beyond to make sure Anusha is a priority! I’m so excited and privileged to stand beside Anusha on the big day and to see this beautiful couple enter a lifetime of happiness together!

Stacy

Stacy Mathews — Bridesmaid

I’ve known Anusha since we were little girls. From playing house and attending dance lessons together to being neighbors in Saint Louis as adults. It’s truly been an honor being your friend and I’m so excited to stand with you for your wedding to Wes!

Ashley Issac — Bridesmaid

Chechi has always been the big sister I never had, our dads being brothers allowed our childhoods to be so involved with each other from having sleepovers, going trick or treating and her and Nish letting me tag along as their chatty little sis. She’s been such a figure of support in my life ever since I was so young. Getting older and being able to relate with some of our experiences and having a role model to learn from and have my back in anything and everything has been such a blessing. I can’t wait to be a part of chechi and Wes’ big day, love you both!

Mariam

Mariam Ismaili — Bridesmaid

I met Anusha back in high school, and over the years, our friendship has grown into something truly special. We’ve shared countless memories—from dancing the night away at parties to having deep, heartfelt conversations that stay with me to this day. Recently, we even had the chance to travel together, and it reminded me once again how kind, generous, and thoughtful she is. I’m so honored to stand by her side on this special day and celebrate the love she deserves.

Neethu

Neethu Joseph — Bridesmaid

I've known Anusha since Pre-K, but we actually didn't become friends until high school. Since meeting her, my life has become infinitely more adventurous. She helped shape who I am today. I am honored to stand by her side as she marries the love of her life!

Dustin Mordica — Best Man

Wes and I first met after I got hired at WashU, and we quickly hit it off by bonding over our shared annoyances with MarComm and a mutual love of soccer. I met Anusha for the first time at a game night at our house, and I liked her instantly—anyone who can manage Wes with such ease is someone worth knowing!

From Soccer matches to Six Flags adventures and arcade nights, it has been an absolute pleasure to call these two our friends. Being chosen as Wes’s Best Man is a true honor, and I couldn’t be happier for them as they start this amazing new chapter together!

Drew Korfe — Groomsman

I’m so proud to watch my brother Wes take the next step in what is sure to be a long and exciting journey with someone as special as Anusha. I wish you both every happiness and look forward to the day we get to welcome Anusha into our family officially! Love ya little brother!

Tikku

Tikku George — Groomsman

I met Wes when we both lived in St. Louis after he started to date my wife’s childhood best friend, who he’s now marrying! From the start, it was clear he was a great guy and we quickly hit it off. It’s been amazing to witness their love story and I can’t wait to be part of their special day!

Clark Conlisk — Groomsman

Meeting Wes in the St. Louis political scene in 2018 was a much needed stroke of good luck. The campaign season was a long, arduous nightmare, but Wes — as you all likely know well — brought (and still brings) much needed energy and positivity into any room. I am counting down the days to be able to celebrate his and Anusha’s special day!

Sachin Babu— Groomsman

I met Wes in Dallas for the first time when he came down to visit Anusha’s parents. Upon getting to know Wes, I immediately recognized how much he adored and loved Anusha or “Anu” as he calls her. It is not easy to reconcile cultural differences in a relationship but Wes has not only embraced the challenge, he’s mastered it. In a way this embodies who Wes is: a man of impeccable character who will go to great lengths for the ones he loves. I am honored to stand by his side and celebrate their special day.

Jack Seigel — Groomsman

I met Wesley working on a political campaign in 2018 in St. Louis. We quickly became fast friends over politics and board games. We even started a podcast together called "Turn Left Here". I’m so honored to be included in the wedding party and wish a lifetime of happiness for Wesley and Anusha

Ajith Issac — Groomsman

I actually met Wes for the first time when Anusha (who I lovingly call Chechi) first introduced him to all of the cousins here in Dallas. By that meeting alone I could tell how genuine of a person that Wes truly is and how he never fails to make Chechi laugh or put a smile on her face. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Wes even more after that interaction and I honestly can’t wait to see their relationship grow even further. I absolutely can’t wait to be a part of their special day.
